This March 2026, the PLM SSC stands in solidarity with every woman, honoring the journeys, and voices that continues to inspire us all. Throughout history and so today women continue to rise above the noise of doubt and criticism. This Womenโs Month, we celebrate the heart of every Lakambini.

The day often starts before the sun is even up. The one who wakes early, preparing for a day of responsibilities that too often go unnoticed. We see the mothers balancing careers and family, making sacrifices that keep entire worlds spinning.
They are our first teachers, offering lessons no textbook could ever capture. Weโve all heard that classic line: โPag ako nawala, saan na kayo pupulutin?โ. We usually laugh it off, perhaps, but it carries a heavy truth, that without our mothers, weโd be lost in the waves of life. Every mother carries a love that asks for nothing in return and protects without any doubt, they are the ones wearing no crown, yet carrying a strength heavier than most could imagine. She is, in every sense, an uncrowned queen.

Look into any library, classroom, or office late at night, and youโll see itโa one of a story like Linda Walker, these are the young women chasing their futures with everything theyโve got.
Before reaching the diploma, Itโs the daughter who goes straight from a long shift to a 7 AM class, the one who also commutes for hours to attend class or the panganay who stepped up as the family breadwinner while still clutching her own dreams tight. They are the ultimate winner, juggling family duties and career goals, they are the living testament that real strength isn't about how easy your life is, but how many times you choose to keep going.
Despite every hurdle, they walked up into the room with full glam make-up, and confidence that quietly shouts in the room. They are like stars scattered across a quiet nightโsmall points of light that, together, turn the darkness into something beautiful.

Not all battles are fought on visible fields. Some are waged quietly, in spaces where expectations weigh heavily and society whispers, โhindi mo kaya.โ or โmanahimik ka nalangโ These are the battles of women who defy stereotypes, challenge unfair rules, and stand firm in their beliefs, even when others oppose them.
They are the leaders who plant seeds of change in their communities, the teachers who ignite sparks of curiosity in young minds, and the everyday women who refuse to let their voices be silenced.
We see what makes being a Lakambiniโ a woman actually looks like. It isn't a shiny crown or a title you wear; itโs that quiet, steady inner strength. The principles and the mentality to act without limitation of the stereotypes and criticisms.
Each story is a ripple, a living testament to the truth that a womanโs strength is measured not by titles or recognition, but by the lives she touches and the change she inspires.
Because indeedโ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ฎ๐ค, ๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ฎ๐ค ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐. A quiet declaration that being a woman is a strength, not a limitation. Women are more than the roles society tries to confine them to;
