Our volunteers at Mental Health Hour Manila spent their Sunday on our exclusive Self-care and Well-being Workshop through the Overflow Transformation System, guided by Dr. Richard Tamayo.

The training is designed to strengthen, elevate, and stabilize one's inner life so helping others flows from inner wholeness, clarity, and joy, not from pressure, depletion, or emotional self-sacrifice.

Uncovering a kind of love that was once unseen and unmet. For many years, the search for validation became a way to fill old voids. Healing began only when the constant running stopped and the path turned inward.

Within lived experiences, including hurt, pain, and doubt, something valuable emerged. Beneath the weight of past struggles, worth was always present.

Learning self-acceptance, including flaws and limits, remains one of the most freeing journeys. Over time, healthier patterns take shape, and a deeper sense of value grows. From this place, care and understanding can be extended to others, not from perfection, but from wholeness.

Worth is not diminished by scars. It is shaped by them. Enoughness exists exactly as one is. Each life stands as a quiet miracle of resilience and strength. Capacity, value, and dignity are not conditional, and nothing can take them away.

Last Saturday, we gathered to pause, reflect, and listenโ€”not just to others, but to ourselves. We explored how love and relationships flourish when we honor our hearts, set emotional boundaries, and practice self-respect.

Here is what we carried home:

๐Ÿ’— Choosing peace over the wrong company isnโ€™t sad, itโ€™s self-respect.
๐Ÿ’— Learn to choose your battles. Not everyone deserves your attention, and not every situation deserves your response.

Many participants appreciated the timeliness and relevance of the session, particularly in addressing burnout among Millennials and Gen Z. Overall, participants valued the session for raising awareness, deepening their understanding of burnout, and offering compassionate ways to cope, rather than just surface-level solutions. A Listening Movement

This advocacy started in Cebu and inspired group of youths in Manila who initiated the movement.

We care and love to listen with your stories, whether it be of pain, joy, struggles, heartaches or whatever that you would like to share. We believe that you are not defined by your struggles and weaknesses. We believe that you are an important person that has a witness and a light to share in this world.
