Taken a year ago, 1 week after giving birth. I had cough for several days, my neck was aching and hard to swallow. The thyroid nodule was diagnosed a year before i got pregnant. Then, this happened, i had difficulty breathing, could not drink nor swallow anymore, i was rushed to the hospital. All antibiotics were thru iv. Can no longer talk too. Lumihis na si trachea sa laki ng bukol. Even water, hindi ko na sya ma swallow :(

I also had blood transfusion in preparation for operation since the hemoglobin count was too low. Finally, the long wait is over.. Akala ko maooperahan na, hindi pala. Natatandaan ko, pinapasok nila ung tubo kung saan ako hihinga. Sa sobrang laki nya hindi ko kaya. Nakakasuka rin un spray nilang pampamanhid. Ending, drain lang ang tubig sa neck and wait until i fully recovered. And don na gagawin ung thyroidectomy. That time delikado din kasi bagsak hemoglobin baka magcoma after.

The 2 nodules were still there even up to date. i just had my neck scanned yesterday. The left nodule has decreased in size as well as the isthmus (thr passage between left and right thyroid, dati kasi para syang maga) though the right part grew a bit bigger the left thyroid has decreased in size because para silang maga. Been drinking buah merah juice for only 3months, i stopped taking medication for thyroid. Lumiit pa rn ung nodules sa left and lumiit ang isthmus.
