Praise God for a successful operation! Mommy I is now in Adonai Home recovering. She lead the prayer at our 1st dinner together. With tears she thank the Lord for keeping her safe, helped her overcame her fears in operation and brought her home in good condition.❤️ We THANK YOU for walking with us, praying for Mommy I and baby T, and supporting us financially! God is good all the time!

A week early and a quick delivery! What an amazing experience to taste and see God's goodness in the life of R. In silence she was suffering keeping her thoughts shut in. It was a process to earn her trust. She needed to see love in action and by God's grace R finally accepted Adonai as her home and the people her family.

His loving arms carried her out of the dark tunnel. We can now see her smiles and hear her thoughts. Thank you all for your love and care through prayers, support, and generosity. God bless you!

And there she goes!! Just like that, our ray of sunshine “S” is off to her next life chapter with confidence and hope… the hope that is found only in Jesus!

“S” arrived at Adonai Home feeling scared, hopeless, and alone. She was in a crisis situation that no one should have to face! In Adonai Home, “S”
found a family who embraced her and made her feel seen, heard, valued, and loved. A family committed to journeying with her, providing the safe space, resources, and assistance she needed to find her way forward. Seven months later, “S” is full of life.. she is funny, super loving, and radiates joy! Look at her smile!

Most of you will remember that “S” gave birth about a month ago. Her baby “JC” came into the world with the challenge of a small heart issue. While we are hoping it corrects itself without surgery, his medical expenses have exceeded our expected budget. He also has a skin issue that requires a prescription cream. Please pray for this sweet little one… that his heart will be made whole without surgical intervention and that the skin condition will resolve without any discoloration or scarring. We ask that you also consider becoming a financial partner with Adonai Home. A few weeks ago we welcomed “I” into Adonai Home. She is a pregnant young teen who urgently needed safe shelter from her abusers. “I” arrived shy and unsure, but she is slowly making friends, bonding with caregivers and beginning to smile. She has enjoyed activities that make her feel more at home like learning to bake sweets and making crafts with visiting missionaries, who have also shared with her the hope that is found only in Jesus. “I” has also been attending church and last Sunday she accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized!

We expect “I” will stay at Adonai Home for approximately 10 months. Each need is different but the average cost for each teen mom per month is $260. Our sweet S had a fairly quick and easy delivery June 17 and is doing well. Baby boy JC is also doing ok but keep him in your prayers, as he has a cardiac issue that requires medication and follow up. Pray specifically that his issue resolves on its own and does not require surgery. Pray for S as she journeys towards postpartum healing and planning for her future.

Last week was a little rough for S. She had some difficulty breathing and needed some nebulizer treatments. Maybe it was the weather. Maybe it was stress or anxiety due to deadlines for her end-of-year school work. Thankfully, she was able to receive treatment in Adonai home and was already breathing easy within 24 hours.

A*o, when S arrived at Adonai Home back in March, she was already thin and malnourished. Adonai staff have been teaching S about nutrition and why it is important. Getting her to take in the nutrition she needs has been a challenge… she prefers rice and sardines and is not easily convinced to try new foods. S has been slowly adding to her diet, but the baby she is growing is still measuring small. We finally came up with a creative solution to try some protein bars and after a few attempts found two flavors that she is willing to eat daily. Yay! Finally we are getting extra protein!

Pray for S to continue on the path of good health and nutrition and for the baby she is carrying to grow.

The sweetness that oozes from “S” continually astounds us! She is always smiling and motivated to help with chores and complete her school work.

As “S” is getting closer to her estimated delivery date, we are making preparations to ensure her a safe delivery. Without a Filipino-licensed OB, Hope Alive Clinic is not able to deliver teens or at-risk moms. “S” is having to travel to a hospital in Antipolo for checkups and planning to deliver there. We are needing extra funds to cover her hospital delivery and possible c-section… “S” is super petite and has asthma. Our need is $1600.

Even while we are waiting for our renovations to be completed, we welcomed a young mom into the Adonai family. “S” is super sweet, cheerful, and motivated despite the challenges she is facing. Her smile is infectious! She enjoys helping around the home and doing arts and crafty things. Her SW describes her as an over achiever when it comes to schoolwork.

We are glad “S” is in the safe space Adonai offers, surrounded by people who will journey with her and advocate for her!

Don’t mind the mess… we are getting a facelift in Adonai Home!!! Stay tuned and we will post our finale of before and after photos in a few weeks. Better yet, reserve your space and come for a visit. We would love to see you in person! But, you can still be part of this ministry before you arrive in person. Adonai Home needs faithful prayer and financial partners.

Yay!!! Another Adonai mom circa 2013 reached out to update us with photos! Momma J was 6-7 months pregnant in the first photo. She named her daughter Adonai because of the love and care she received while in Adonai Home.
