Another recognition earned through collective efforts of Sta Ana Hospital and its people, truly, a sign of commitment strengthened.

Sta. Ana Hospital, as an LGU Hospital and Disease Reporting Unit, is recognized by the Department of Health–Metro Manila CHD for Timely, Accurate, and Complete Reporting of Mandatory Notifiable Diseases for Reporting Period Week 1–45 (Quarters 1–3). A testament to our commitment to dependable disease surveillance and public health service.

Given during the Semi-Annual Consultative Meeting with Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units in the National Capital Region.

Recieving the award is IPC nurse John Patrick Tan on behalf of Sta Ana Hospital, and the people behind it.

Under the Administration of Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, the City Government of Manila and the Tan Yan Kee Foundation had this edifice built as a joint venture that started in 2009. The entire hospital compound covers 9,101 square meters of a lot donated by Mr. Lucio Tan for the Sole purpose of constructing a hospital devoted to service the constituents of and residents of Manila. Located at the sixth district of Manila comprised of the barangays of Sta. Mesa, Pandacan, and San Andres - Pasig Line, the air conditioned building is equipped with modern medical facilities, fixtures as well as structural provisions for the future amenities at the time of its opening on April 28, 2010. It is the latest addition to complete the cluster of local government hospitals for the City’s six districts.
