May BUKOL o GOITER ka ba?

Ang thyroid gland ay matatagpuan sa gitna ng ibabang parte ng leeg. Karaniwang hindi ito nakakapa, ngunit kapag mayroong bosyo or goiter ang isang tao, maaari itong makita o makapa bilang isang bukol sa leeg. Maaaring lumaki ang thyroid gland kapag:

Mataas ang thyroid hormones level o ang tinatawag na Hyperthyroidism. Ilang sintomas nito ay ang:
