Transcare Emergency Medical Services is honored to have been part of this remarkable international medical mission.

On March 5, our team conducted an International Medical Es**rt from the Philippines to Taiwan for a patient diagnosed with Acquired Central Hypoventilation Syndrome following complications from brain surgery, resulting in long-term ventilator dependence.

The mission included full medical travel coordination, airline medical clearance, ground ambulance transfers, and continuous in-flight medical monitoring with oxygen support and ventilatory support as required to ensure patient safety throughout the journey.

The patient was admitted to Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) in Taiwan, where she successfully underwent Diaphragm Pacing System (DPS) implantation — a procedure that stimulates the diaphragm to restore natural breathing and allow gradual weaning from mechanical ventilator support.

Following successful treatment and stabilization, Transcare again conducted the return International Medical Es**rt on March 25, transporting the patient safely from Taiwan back to the Philippines via commercial airline medical es**rt, with continuous monitoring and coordinated ground ambulance transfers from airport to receiving facility.

This case highlights the importance of proper medical planning, international coordination, and professional medical es**rt services in complex cross-border patient transfers.

We thank our partner hospitals, airline partners, and medical teams for the successful outcome of this mission.
