and the tremors caused by 7.4 earthquake, our dedicated staff ensured the patient’s safety and well-being through skill and commitment.

Marihatag District Hospital successfully conducted a Re-orientation on Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) facilitated by Assistant Provincial Planning and Development Officer Ms. Carolina R. Hidalgo and company.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the session, recognizing that the preparation of an IPCR plays a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and quality of care. Moreover, by creating well-crafted and realistic IPCRs, the hospital can generate a more accurate and comprehensive Office Performance Commitment Review (OPCR), reflecting the collective performance and commitment of the entire institution.

The Marihatag District Hospital, in partnership with the Municipal Health Office of Marihatag, conducted a Free Ultrasound service for 30 pregnant women in support of the DOH Safe Motherhood Program. This initiative was also one of the highlight activities during the Buntis Congress.

During the visit and monitoring conducted by the Office of Internal Audit of the Province of Surigao del Sur, as part of their mandate to assess the efficiency of Marihatag District Hospital’s operations, only minimal findings and recommendations were noted, which will serve as the baseline for further improvements.
