Healthy First To provide quality healthy juice in promoting a healthy lifestyle. It was by God’s leading that their carrot juice business was born.

The prime movers of Healthy First, Fatima (Ima) and Candelario (Candy) Verzosa, have always been fascinated with carrots. Carrot saves eyesight, protects our heart, prevents constipation, combats cancer with its anti-oxidant properties and promotes weight loss. It literally knocked on their door. The Good Shepherd nuns (one of them is Candy’s sister, Sr. Pilar Verzosa) asked them to help market the produce of several Baguio farmers as part of their apostolate work. Seeing the huge volume of harvested carrots, Ima and Candy immediately knew that they are being led to a new food venture – the production of carrot juices. Before this, Candy gifted Ima with a vegetable juicer. Ima and Candy believe that it was not just a simple coincidence. God was opening up the way to enable Healthy First to be part of the nun’s apostolate, and to bring to people the many benefits of carrots. Thus was born Healthy First’s carrot juices. Healthy First discovered that if blended with the fruits in season, carrot extracts can produce the most delicious mix of juices. Now HF is producing a variety of carrot-fruit blends such as carrot-mango, carrot-melon, carrot-apple, carrot-strawberry, carrot pineapple-lychee and its version of four seasons – carrot-apple-pineapple-melon-mango. HF has expanded juice production to include fresh mango blends, such as mango-lychee, mango-melon, mango apple and mango pineapple. All juices have no preservatives, no artificial colors, all natural, use only purified alkaline and energized water (no added ice), and are served cold or half-frozen to retain its freshness. The carrot benefits are even further strengthened by the beneficial effects from its fruit blends. Pineapple strengthens bones, relieves colds, aids digestion, dissolves warts and blocks diarrhea. Strawberry, on the other hand, combats cancer, protects our heart, boosts memory, and calms stress. Mango combats cancer, boosts memory, regulates thyroid, aids digestion and shields against Alzheimer's.
