"Communication. This is one of the fundamental pillars of the Paranormal Investigation. For those in the fora who are wondering why the V2 Project is very methodical and precise, consider this situation:

Two people, very much alive, speaking the same language, have so much difficulty getting to understand one another. Consider further, that they live in the same town, and thus share even a slightly more similar background. Consider even, that they belong to the same generation. But still - communication issues arise.

NOW - consider, you are dealing with a confirmed Paranormal Anomaly. It does not speak the language you use, but it is exhibiting Sentience - self-awareness, intelligence, and consciousness. It is furthermore making a ruckus of things in the area.

How do you establish First Contact?
How do you communicate?
How do you ensure that what you are communicating is, for instance, "I want to talk with you" and not "I want to eat your mommah"?

Whose rules of syntax must be obeyed?

Does it communicate with music, with infrasound, with bleeps that can only be registered at the frequency of 11Hz? How do you identify its mode of communication? How do you answer back?
Apply this further, to UFOs, and Aliens. How do you make sure that what you are telling them is "we are humans, we come in peace" and not "we are humans, you are now our peas"?
