Hosted by JCI Baliwag Buntal at Cafe Galilea in Bustos, Bulacan, the event served as a vital platform for leadership development and strategic collaboration within the Metro North area.

Our attendance in the Avante Training underscores our commitment to continuous learning and excellence. By engaging with fellow Local Organizations, we continue to align our efforts toward a more sustainable and impactful future for our community.

Elevating Voices, Empowering Leaders!

JCI Marilaw was honored to serve as a Co-Host Project for "Speak with Impact: Leadership Debate Competition," held last March 21, 2026, at Richwell Colleges in Plaridel, Bulacan.

This project, hosted by JCI Plaridel del Pilar, brought together our fellow Local Organizations—JCI Baliwag Buntal, JCI Malolos, and JCI Marilao Marilag—to sharpen the critical thinking and public speaking skills of our young leaders. We were privileged to have Mr. Aldhe Cruz guide the session as our Facilitator and Judge, ensuring a high standard of discourse and learning.

Co-hosting this initiative reinforces our commitment to providing platforms where leadership and communication intersect to create a lasting impact.

Last March 10, 2026, JCI Marilaw participated in the Awards Manual Rollout held via Zoom. This session provided our Local Organization with valuable insights into the official bidding process and a deeper understanding of the high awards and standards set by JCI Philippines.

By mastering these protocols, we ensure that our community projects and member achievements are recognized at the highest level as we continue to create a meaningful impact.

It was a productive and meaningful gathering as JCI Marilaw participated in the 1st Metro North Regional Council Meeting. Hosted by JCI Plaridel del Pilar, the event took place on March 21, 2026, at Richwell Colleges in Plaridel, Bulacan.

The meeting, which served as part of the Metro North Skills Development Series, brought together various Local Organizations to align on strategies for the year. Beyond the official council business, the delegates also engaged in a community Fire Safety Drill on March 26 at Plaza Cecilia and attended JCI Discover and JCI Protocols training on March 28.

The weekend concluded with JCI Marilaw’s own 3rd General Membership Meeting at 3019 Bistro Cafe, reinforcing our Local Organization's commitment to leadership and service.

🕯️ Tanglaw Pagmamahal: Honoring Legacies, Keeping the Light Alive

Last November 1, 2025, JCI Marilaw came together for a solemn afternoon of remembrance and reflection. Through our project, "Tanglaw Pagmamahal," we honored the lives and legacies of our departed loved ones.

In the spirit of JCI’s belief that "Service to humanity is the best work of life," we spent the day remembering those who paved the way for us. Their values and the love they shared remain the tanglaw (light) that continues to guide our mission of service today.

It was a beautiful moment of community and shared gratitude. Though they are no longer with us in person, their influence is woven into every project we undertake and every life we touch.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer and remembrance. May we always carry their light in everything we do.

🔥 Preparedness is Leadership: JCI Marilaw Fire Safety Drill
Safety starts with awareness and collective action!

Last March 26, JCI Marilaw successfully conducted a Fire Safety Drill at Plaza Cecilia Community Mall. In observance of Fire Prevention Month, we took proactive steps to empower our local community with life-saving skills and emergency readiness.

This mission was made possible through the invaluable support of our dedicated partners:

🏢 PVG Property Management Corp. – For their commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all mall-goers and tenants.

🚒 Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Marilao – For providing the expert training and technical guidance to ensure we are always ready for any emergency.
