"Important Notice: Fasting Guidelines for Laboratory Tests
To ensure accurate laboratory results, please follow these fasting guidelines:
- Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS): 8-10 hours
- Lipid Profile: 10-12 hours
- FBS + Lipid Profile: 8-10 hours
Patients are encouraged to adjust their last meal according to their scheduled arrival time for blood extraction, which starts at 6:30 AM.
Please note:
Overfasting is NOT recommended unless specified by the requesting physician on the request slip.
Overfasting may affect the accuracy of your test results.
