AUTHORITY TO SELL AN LPG BRAND
IS ILLEGAL

Republic Act 11592, or the LPG Industry Regulation Act, requires all LPG industry participants to secure a License to Operate to engage in any industry activity before commercial operation. The LTO shall be specific to site, plant or outlet. Section 25 of the DOE Department Circular DC2022-11-0037 specifies the requirements for the issuance of an LTO per activity. The same Circular requires every dealer or retailer to register with the DOE all its LPG brands it is authorized to sell upon application for the issuance of LTO.
