Pumasok siya sa clinic halos hindi maigalaw ang balikat.
Sobrang sakit, namamaga ang muscles, at nagkaroon na siya ng lagnat sign ng severe muscle inflammation.

Kapag matindi ang pamamaga at tension sa balikat, nagiging protective mode ang muscles. Ibig sabihin, mas umiipit, mas nangangalay, at mas mahirap igalaw. Ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit minsan lumalagnat ang katawan nagrereact sa inflammation.

Ano ang ginawa namin?
Hindi namin minadali. Hinilot siya nang dahan-dahan, layer by layer, para:

✔ Lumuwag nang paunti-unti ang muscle (slow release technique)
✔ Bumaba ang inflammation response
✔ Unti-unting bumalik ang normal na range of motion

Walang pilit, walang biglang batak. Relax first, then release. Kapag nare-relax ang muscle, kusang lumuluwag ang ugat, nerve, at tension — harmless, effective, at hindi traumatic sa katawan.

Sa unti-unting pag-loosen, nakaigalaw na niya ang balikat nang mas hindi masakit bago siya umuwi.
✨ Remember: Hindi lahat ng masakit, dapat malakas.
Minsan, ang tamang hilot ay dahan-dahan, pero direkta sa pinagmumulan ng sakit.

Bakit tumitigas (nag-spasm) ang likod kahit walang deformity sa spine? Hindi lang laging dahil sa buto. Maraming dahilan,

1) Muscle Compensation (Overwork)
Kapag may part ng body na mahina (core, glutes, abdomen), ang back muscles ang nagsasalo ng trabaho.
So kahit walang problem sa buto, napapagod at naninigas.

➡️ Example: Mahina belly core likod ang nagdadala sa posture “rock hard” back.

2) Chronic Stress + Hormones Muscle Tightness
Pag stressed, anxious, kulang sa tulog, or laging galit/overthinking:
Your body releases cortisol adrenaline.
These hormones cause muscle guarding (automatic tightening).

➡️ Parang laging “alert mode ang katawan — kaya matigas at masakit.

✔️ This is the reason kahit pahinga, hindi lumuluwag ang likod.

3) Poor Blood Flow / Bad Posture
Long sitting, cellphone, computer, driving, standing long hours = restricted circulation.
Pag kulang dugo sa muscle → lack of oxygen → nagiging trigger points (lamig, buhol, bato).

4) Lack of Magnesium + Dehydration
Muscle fibers need magnesium, potassium, and water para relax and contract properly.
Kapag kulang → muscles don’t relax lagi nang naka-contract.

➡️ Kaya may clients na matigas kahit hindi stressful, because of diet.

5) Repetitive Micro-Trauma (Small Injuries)
Bigat-bit, exercise without stretching, wrong sleeping position, carrying kids, cleaning, etc.
Small tears create scar-like tight fibers → super tigas!

🧠 What If the Spine Is Deformed?

Yes, kapag may scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis = muscles tighten to protect the spine.
Pero hindi lang sa may deformity nangyayari.
Sa normal spine, muscles still tighten for protection — against bad posture, stress, or weakness.

🩺 So, Is It Hormonal?

YES, partly. Stress & hormones (cortisol/adrenaline) cause back muscles to tighten even without injury.

But hindi hormones alone.
Combination of:

Posture. Weak core. Stres
Blood circulation. Mineral deficiency
Micro-injuries

Bakit nagta-tight ang lower back at nagkakaroon ng sciatica?

1️⃣ Masikip ang muscles sa balakang at lower back
Kapag laging naka-upo laging nakayuko, o kulang sa stretching, tumitigas ang muscles.
Pag sobrang tight, hinihila nila yung spine kaya sumasakit at nagta-tight lalo.

2️⃣ Naiipit ang sciatic nerve
Ang sciatic nerve dumadaan sa likod ng balakang at puwet.
Kapag matigas yung piriformis muscle yung muscle sa puwet), pwede niyang ipitín yung nerve sumasakit, kumikirot, may “kuryente pababa sa paa.

3️⃣ Poor posture at weak core
Kapag mahina ang core, binabawi ng lower back overwork nagta-tight.

4️⃣ Stress at pagod
Stress = tension sa katawan → lumalaban ang muscles → nagkakaroon ng tightness lalo sa lower back.

5️⃣ Wrong lifting or biglaan na galaw
Kapag mali ang buhat o bugso ng galaw, nagco-contract bigla ang muscles para protect, kaya tumitigas.

6️⃣ Sedentary lifestyle
Pag laging naka upo naii-stretch nang matagal ang sciatic nerve area at tumitigas ang surrounding muscles.
