💆♀️ TALK FOR TODAY: Why do active people still get Frozen Shoulder?
Marami sa clients namin nagtatanong,
“Active naman ako… nagba-basketball ako, naggi-gym ako… bakit nagka-shoulder pain or frozen shoulder pa rin ako?”
First, ang tawag dito ay Frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis.
Here’s why:
💡 Is it related to hormones?
Yes, possible din po.
Frozen shoulder is not always caused by injury. Sometimes, it is connected to hormonal changes especially in women 40 years old and above.
Kapag may hormonal imbalance (like thyroid problems or menopause stage), mas nagiging prone ang joints sa stiffness and inflammation.
✨ Reminder:
Early treatment is very important.
Pain is not always just about muscles — sometimes it’s internal changes in the body.
Listen to your body. Don’t ignore the signs.
