LOCKED TWINS (or interlocking twins) is a very rare and dangerous obstetric emergency where the heads of twin babies get physically hooked together during delivery, often when the first is breech (feet first) and the second is vertex (head first), preventing v@ginal birth.
✅It required immediate C-section or special maneuvers to avoid high fetal mortality.
✅ It happens in about 1 in 1,000 twin births, often with small babies, large pelvis, or low amniotic fluid, and needs quick action like uterine relaxation.
