No, a damp back (from sweat or rain) cannot directly cause pneumonia.

Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in the lungs, typically caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. It spreads through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes, contact with contaminated surfaces, or in some cases, aspiration of fluids into the lungs.

While being sweaty might make you feel chilly if the environment is cool, there’s no direct link between a damp back and developing pneumonia. However, if you’re already unwell or have a weakened immune system, getting chilled after sweating could potentially make you more susceptible to infections in general – but this is not the same as causing pneumonia itself.

Hyperthyroidism is a set of disorders that involve excess synthesis and secretion of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland, which leads to the hypermetabolic condition of thyrotoxicosis.
The most common forms of hyperthyroidism include diffuse toxic goiter (Graves disease), toxic multinodular goiter, and toxic adenoma.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Common symptoms of hyperthyroidism and thyrotoxicosis include the following:
>Nervousness
>Anxiety
> Increased Perspiration
>Heat Intolerance
> Hyperactivity
> Palpitation
>Hyperdefecation
> Hypertension
>Stare
>Hand tremor
>Toungue tremor
>Muscle weakness
>Weight loss despite increased apetite
>Reduction in menstrual flow

Thyroid hormone excess causes left ventricular thickening which is associated with an increased risk of heart failure and cardiac-related death.
