In our sacred land, the Lumad not only sow seeds, but also stories. And yet, the state has turned their names into numbers, their lives into statistics buried beneath the soil of oppression.
This Peasantsโ Month, we till the ground of truth and raise the call for justiceโfor their communityโs right to learn, to live, and to be named in full, not as casualties, but as protectors of our collective roots.
Let their names grow where they were once erased. Let them count on a better future, not on injustices.
For this Peasantsโ Month, ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ฒ presents โ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง: _____โ
๐๐จ๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐: A Lumad introduces himself not through his name, but through the injustices his community faces.
