October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month ❤️🩹
Two little feet that never took a step.
But somehow… they still walk with me everywhere I go.
Their tiny footprints aren’t in the sand or in the grass..
they’re on my heart.
Etched there. Forever.
Sometimes I catch myself wondering…
what would it feel like to watch them run barefoot in the yard?
To see their toes curl in the dirt,
their giggles carried by the wind?
But instead, it’s quiet.
Just me.. carrying the memory of what could’ve been.
Two little feet I never got to chase,
but I’ll spend the rest of my life carrying.
