Last week, the GrayMatters team joined TeknoLunas 2025: Mindful Innovation — Policy, Ethics, and Regulation in Mental Health Tech, held on October 22–24, 2025 at Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University – Manila.

The event brought together researchers, healthcare professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and students to explore innovations in biomedical engineering and promote interdisciplinary collaboration toward transforming healthcare delivery in the Philippines.

Dr. Meg Orquiza was invited as one of the panel discussant on the plenary session on TITLE: “Dr. Frankenstein and Mindful Innovation: The Battle of Values” which discusses on the benefits and dangers of technology innovations on mental health. The session, moderated by Ms. Elaine Aranda, discussed the ethical, cultural, and legal considerations, and the importance of collaboration in doing mindful innovations using technologies.

It was an inspiring gathering of minds, reaffirming our shared commitment to advancing mental health through innovation and collaboration. 🧡💚
