In the observance of National Women’s Month 2026, the nation unites under the theme "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society," complemented with "Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!" This month-long celebration, serves as a powerful testament to the transformative leadership and resilience of women in fostering a truly progressive and inclusive society.

Sgt Shirley M. Cagampang (Res), PA, embodies the spirit of service and leadership, a dedicated training staff member of Kolehiyo ng Pantukan ROTC unit in Kingking, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.

Sgt. Cagampang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and readiness of students by imparting her knowledge and skills on first aid, and she lived with it, not only during ROTC training but to her community.

Her commitment to service excellence in the community demonstrates the historical strength of the Filipina while paving the way for a future, defined by gender equity and dedicated service to the nation.
