I choose to rise anyway.
Just like a sunflower.

Sunflowers do not grow in perfect places.
Sometimes the soil is dry,
the wind is harsh,
and the days are without enough sun.
Still, they turn toward the light.

Life can feel like that.
One extra task.
One heavy message.
One moment that makes you feel stressed or irritated.

โ€œBakit ganito na naman?โ€
โ€œAng hirap na.โ€
โ€œNakakapagod na talaga.โ€

Those reactions do not mean you are weak.
Your triggers are not your enemy.
They just show that you are human,
and you are trying.

When things get too much,
pause.
Breathe.
Find what gives you light again.
Give yourself time to bounce back.

You can rest.
You can restart.
You can rise again, slowly.

Because like a sunflower,

then someone asks you to do one more thing?

You feel your body tighten.
Your mood changes fast.
You get annoyed before you can think.

That is not you being โ€œoverreacting.โ€
That is your Reactive Brain trying to protect you.

Our brain works in two modes:
โ€ข Reactive Mode: quick, emotional, stressed
โ€ข Resilient Mode: calm, clear, in control

When the brain feels overwhelmed,
it sends a danger signal
even if you are actually safe.

Here is the good news:
You can train your brain to handle moments like this better.

Try the PAUSE Method:
P โ€“ Pay attention to how you feel
A โ€“ Acknowledge it
U โ€“ Understand what triggered it
S โ€“ Set your intention
E โ€“ Engage with a better response

A little pause can change the whole outcome.
