We are pleased to announce that Clinic 324 – ACEDDHI now offers Ocular Ultrasound services, complete with official interpretation by your vitreoretina specialist, Dr Janice Marie N. Jordan-Yu.

An ocular ultrasound report, also known as an ocular B-scan, provides a detailed, two-dimensional image of the internal structures of the eye. The report is particularly useful when media opacities, such as a dense cataract or vitreous hemorrhage, prevent a doctor from seeing the retina directly.

With this addition, we continue our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality eye care.

Silliman University Medical Center is abuzz with celebration this Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The short dedication program began with the presentation of the beautiful 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, which has found its home within Jose Garcia Hall, serving as a reminder of SUMC’s humble beginnings, unwavering faith, and a lasting commitment to healing.

The celebration continued as attendees witnessed the dedication and ribbon-cutting of the Ultrasound Machine for Obstetrics and Gynecology cases, followed by the dedication of the new Eye Surgical Suite — a true milestone in advancing patient care!
