Hindi lahat ng “natural” ay laging mabuti.
May ilang herbal supplements na maaaring makasira ng bato, lalo na kung sobra o madalas inumin. Mayroon ding mga produkto na may adulterants—mga sangkap na hindi nakasaad sa label at maaaring makapinsala sa ating mga organs.

Para sa mga may sakit sa bato (CKD) na hindi pa nag-dialysis, mahalaga ang tamang nutrisyon at pamumuhay. Regular na mag-ehersisyo at isama ang mga aktibidad na nakatutulong sa pag-manage ng stress.

Ang wastong pangangalaga at pagsunod sa mga medikal na payo ay susi sa pagpapanatili ng kalusugan ng inyong mga bato. "Prevention is better than cure." Ang tamang nutrisyon, healthy lifestyle, at regular check-up ay maaaring makatulong upang maiwasan ang pag da-dialysis.
