Hindi lang baga ang naapektuhan ng paninigarilyo—pati ang bato mo.

Mas mataas ang panganib ng sakit sa bato para sa mga naninigarilyo.

Sinisira ng ni****ne at ibang lason sa sigarilyo ang mga maliliit na daluyan ng dugo (blood vessels) sa bato. Dahil dito, lalong lumalala ang chronic kidney disease.

Tumigil sa paninigarilyo—para sa malusog na baga at bato.
Kausapin ang doktor o bisitahin ang health center para magpayo.

Ang labis o maling paggamit ng ilang gamot—legal man o ilegal—ay maaaring magdulot ng matinding pinsala sa iyong mga bato.

Hindi lahat ng gamot ay ligtas sa bato.
Alam mo bang may mga gamot—legal at ilegal—na maaaring makasira sa iyong kidneys kapag inabuso o ginamit ng walang gabay ng doktor?

Magpatingin muna bago uminom! Protektahan ang inyong bato, kumonsulta sa doktor!

PAANO MADEDETEK ANG CKD?

Kadalasan ay walang sintomas ang CKD at maaaring mawala ang hanggang 90% ng paggana ng bato bago lumabas ang anumang palatandaan. Gayunpaman, maaari itong matukoy sa pamamagitan ng simpleng pagsusuri tulad ng pagsusuri ng ihi upang makita kung may protina, at pagsusuri ng dugo upang masukat ang antas ng creatinine.

Kapag lumalala na ang CKD, maaaring maranasan ang mga sintomas tulad ng pamamaga ng bukong-bukong, panghihina, hirap mag-concentrate, kawalan ng gana, at mabula na ihi.
