Learning and Promoting Water Safety!

On March 13, 2026, ACLC Emergency Response Team (ERT) – SHS and College participated in the Drowning Prevention Awareness Month activity at the Olympic-Size Swimming Pool in Ormoc City, together with CDRRMO / HEMS Operation. The activity aimed to promote water safety and raise awareness about drowning prevention in the community.

Representing ACLC with pride, the ACLC ERT SHS and College continue to support initiatives that strengthen preparedness, teamwork, and service to the community. 🌊🚑

Strengthening Emergency Preparedness 🚒

Last February 27, 2026, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted a comprehensive training for ODH nurses during their Simulation Exercise (SIMEX), held at ACLC College of Ormoc, Inc.

The ACLC Emergency Response Team (ERT) actively participated as mock patients, helping create realistic emergency scenarios to test response time, coordination, and medical management.

Through teamwork and hands-on drills, preparedness and lifesaving skills were further strengthened.🔥

On December 8, 2025, the ACLC Emergency Response Team’s Elite Six proudly showcased their skills, preparation, and hard work as they joined and competed in the National Health Emergency Preparedness 2025 held at the CDRRMO / HEMS Operation Center. Each member showed impressive focus, discipline, and confidence, meeting every scenario with professionalism and calm under pressure.

Throughout the competition, their weeks of training were clearly reflected in how they moved, communicated, and executed each task. The teamwork they displayed from quick decision-making to coordinated responses proved how committed they are to serving with excellence.

Representing ACLC with pride, the Elite Six reminded everyone that true readiness comes from dedication, preparation, and unity. Their performance didn’t just show what they’ve learned—it showed their heart for service and the strong spirit of the Emergency Response Team. 🚑

Commitment and Preparedness at the Ormoc City Division Meet 2025👊🏻

The ACLC Emergency Response Team successfully extended its service during the Division Meet held on November 19–22, 2025. Our members were fully prepared to assist, respond, and help maintain a safe environment for all articipants throughout the event.

As a team, we were honored to support our school and the wider community. With compassion, dedication, and teamwork, the ACLC ERT remained committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone during the Division Meet. 🚑

The Backbone of Safety at ACLC Intramurals 2025🎖

A huge salute to the dedicated ACLC Emergency Response Team (ERT) for their vigilance and tireless service throughout the ACLC Intramurals 2025!

While the students competed and the school celebrated, our ERT was the silent force ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone. Their duty spanned three high-energy days:

Day 1: The Grand Opening 🛡️ The ERT was ready for crowd control and immediate care during the large-scale opening ceremony and the initial wave of games, ensuring a strong and safe start to the event

Day 2: Glitz and Glamour 🌟 From providing first aid coverage during the intense final games to maintaining readiness throughout the exciting Mr. and Ms. ACLC pageant, the team handled diverse safety needs with professionalism and calm.

Day 3: Celebration and Closure 🏆 Even during the high emotions of the Awarding Ceremony and the lively Hue Night, the ERT remained focused and prepared, ensuring all celebrations—including the last rounds of the games—concluded safely and without incident.

Huge appreciation to the ACLC ERT's unwavering commitment that allowed our students to fully enjoy the spirit of competition and camaraderie!

ERT SHARING LIFE-SAVING SKILLS ✅️

The ACLC-ERT successfully conducted the Disaster Preparedness and Life-Saving Skills Workshop (Batch 1 & 2) for the ACLC College Department on October 17–18, 2025.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the initiative of NSTP Coordinator Sir Jonas Molato, and was facilitated by the DRRM Coordinator and ERT Adviser Ariel V. Tayong, together with Jovence Tabon and the ERT members.

The workshop covered essential topics on Disaster Preparedness, Basic First Aid, and Basic Life Support (CPR)—aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently and effectively during emergencies.

This event emphasized that it’s better to know than suffer, reinforcing the importance of preparedness, awareness, and shared responsibility in ensuring safety within the school and the community.

The ERT extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment throughout the sessions. With continuous training and cooperation, ACLC-ERT remains steadfast in fostering a culture of safety, readiness, and resilience among ACLC students. 🚨

Throughout the event, the team ensured the safety and well-being of all participants, athletes, and spectators by remaining alert and prepared to respond to any emergency situation.

Their presence exemplified discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service values that reflect the true essence of preparedness and responsibility. ALERT! ASSEMBLE! 🚨

The ACLC Emergency Response Team (ERT) is officially geared up for the Intramurals and District Meet! Last week, ACLC ERT Aspirant undergone a vital FIRST AID WORKSHOP (October 8, 2025).

The workshop focused on practical, hands-on skills: familiarization with the first aid kit, basic first aid procedures, proper bandaging techniques, and treating common sports-related conditions. We're ensuring everyone is prepared to handle any minor injuries!

On this Teacher’s Day, we celebrate and honor Sir Ariel A. Tayong, not just as teacher but also as our dedicated school nurse and mentor. Who always been guided and cared for us,especially in ERT training. He is more than a teacher he inspires us to be disciplined,responsible,and compassionate in serving others.

What makes Sir Ariel special is his dedication and wisdom, as well as the way he turns every training into a meaningful and enjoyable experience. Through his humor and lighthearted moments, he shows us that learning can be filled with joy, teamwork, and friendship.

The ACLC Emergency Response Team (ERT) once again stood firm and ready as we served during the exciting events of Sci-Mathron, Sci-Lookalike, and Tugsayawit. While everyone enjoyed the competitions, cheered for their house, and showcased their wit and talents, our team made sure that safety was never compromised.

Behind the fun and loud cheers, we silently stood on guard prepared for any situation, ensuring quick response and providing assistance whenever needed. Because being part of the ERT is not just about presence, but about responsibility, teamwork, and genuine service to the community.
