HAND FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE

Virus: Sama sa Coxsackievirus A16, Coxsackievirus A6, Enterovirus 71

Makatakod: Tae, ubo, bahing, butang nga gikaptan

WALAY specific na antiviral treatment – supportive therapy lang - usually mo resolve in 7-10 days.

Kanunay maghugas sa kamot, limpyoha pirmi ang dulaan og mga gamit sa bata.

Kung naigo na sa usa ka klase nga virus sa HFMD, pwede gihapon maigo pag-usab kung lain nga klase sa virus ang makatakod.

Onychomadesis (Picture D) – pagkatanggal sa kuko – 4-8 ka semana human sa HFMD – DILI DELIKADO – motubo ra balik sulod sa 1-3 ka bulan.

Fact: A person with Flu can infect 4-5 persons in a room. Flu Vaccine can prevent us from getting the infection and can prevent us from being hospitalized. It can also prevent its spread.

Why do I need to be vaccinated agaist flu every year?

2 reasons:

The body’s immune response from vaccination declines over time, so an annual vaccine is needed for optimal protection.

Because flu viruses are constantly changing, the formulation of the flu vaccine is reviewed each year and updated to keep up with changing flu viruses.

If with symptoms: Take a rest, hydrate, seek consultation, cover mouth/nose when coughing, wear face mask, frequent hand washing.

Paghatag sa vaccine - Matag tuig

Edad sa Pagsugod: 6 ka bulan pataas

6 months – 8 year old (una pa lang magpabakuna): 2 doses, 4 ka semana ang pagitan

6 months – 8 year old (nakadawat na ug ≥2 ka doses sauna): 1 dose na lang

≥9 year old: 1 dose only
