📢 OFFICIAL SUPPORT | MEASLES-RUBELLA SIA 📢

In light of the rising number of measles and rubella cases in Lanao del Norte, MLGOO Nasif D. Mangotara, representing the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), expresses his full support to Rural Health Unit – Pantao Ragat in carrying out the Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) for children aged six (6) months to fifty-nine (59) months.

MLGOO Mangotara is urging all barangay officials to actively support and prioritize this vaccination campaign by organizing their communities, supporting medical professionals, and ensuring the efficient and successful ex*****on of MR-SIA activities in their respective barangays.

Additionally, he urges all parents and guardians to participate in this important effort by having their eligible children vaccinated. The MR-SIA vaccines have been shown to be safe, cost-free, and effective in shielding kids from vaccine preventable disease such as measles and rubella.
Through unified action and shared responsibility among LGU, barangay officials, health workers, and families, we can all work together to safeguard our children's health and future.

Bakuna ang panalipod para sa luwas ug himsog nga kaugmaon sa kabataan.

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

The School-Based Immunization Program will officially launch on September 22, 2025 (Monday) at Pantao Ragat Agro-Industrial School. 🗓️💉

This program, in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), DepEd, and Rural Health Unit of Pantao Ragat provides FREE and SAFE vaccines to protect our children against preventable diseases.

💉 Vaccines to be Given:
✅ Grade 1 & Grade 7 – Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td)
✅ Grade 4 (Girls) – Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Parents & Guardians:
Your support is vital! Please sign and return the consent forms sent by the school to allow your children to receive their vaccines. This is one of the best ways to keep them healthy, safe, and protected while they learn.

Ipinapaabot po ng ating Municipal Health Officer na Bukas na po gaganapin ang FREE CHEST X-RAY CARAVAN 🩻💙

👉 Ang libreng serbisyong ito ay bukas para sa lahat ng residente ng Pantao Ragat mula edad 15 pataas.
👉 Layon ng caravan na masuri ang ating baga upang maagapan ang mga posibleng karamdaman, partikular na ang Tuberculosis (TB).
👉 Ang maagang pagtuklas ng sakit ay nakatutulong upang maiwasan ang paglala at maprotektahan ang ating pamilya at komunidad.

Get a free chest x-ray and take charge of your health! The Municipal Health Office, in partnership with Philippine Business for Social Progress - ALAYBUHAY, is bringing a free X-ray caravan to our community.

Who can avail?
Everyone 15 years old and above, especially those who have been experiencing a cough for more than two weeks.

PuroKalusugan Rollout in Barangay Banday, Barangay Culubun, and Barangay East Poblacion
Committed to advancing community-based health services

The Department of Health, in collaboration with local health partners, successfully conducted the PuroKalusugan initiative in Barangay Banday, Barangay Culubun, and Barangay East Poblacion. This initiative brought essential health services—including preventive screenings, FPE, and health education—closer to the community.
