📌 NPMO Finance Management Monitoring Visit
🗓 November 20, 2025 | 📍 Municipality of Pantar

The Local Government Unit of Pantar successfully hosted the NPMO Finance Management Monitoring Visit, beginning with the opening program led by our LGU team.

A Welcome Message was delivered by Hon. Abdul Basher D. Tago, Municipal Mayor, followed by the Introduction of LGU Personnel presented by Dr. Fatma Abdul Jalil, OIC-MHO/DTTB.

The PMNP/NPMO Team was present, led by Sara Mae Rosete, PMNP-Regional Manager Officer and Message of Support was given by Dr. Faith Alberto, Director IV and Project Team Leader–PMNP.

The program continued with a Desk Review and Finance Checking conducted by the PMNP team, followed by a Feedbacking Session led by Lindsley Go, RND, Area Specialist, PMNP Mindanao Cluster. And Jan Luke Demetrio, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist gives highlight on PMNP- Information System.

A ceremonial turnover of the additional 22 tablets for PMNP-IS was also conducted, spearheaded by Project Director IV and Project Team Leader-PMNP Dr. Faith Alberto, and received by the Municipal Mayor Hon. Abdul Basher D. Tago and the OIC-MHO Dr. Fatma Abdul Jalil.

We express our sincere appreciation to the NPMO/PMNP team, our local officials, RHU-Pantar, DOH-HRH and all partners for their continuous support and dedication in strengthening financial management systems for improved service delivery to our constituents.

August 19 is National TB Day!

FREE CHEST X-RAY Caravan 🩻

The Free Chest X-Ray Caravan was held today, August 19, 2025, at the Covered Court of Barangay Campong, Pantar, LDN. It was made available to all constituents and facilitated by the Rural Health Unit of Pantar, in partnership with PBSP and Alay Buhay Foundation spearheaded by Dr. Fatma M. Abdul Jalil, the new PHN, DOH-HRH, RHU-LGU personnel, and BHWs.

We sincerely thank the people of Pantar for their full support and for availing of the free services. This activity served as a vital step in helping the community through the early detection and prevention of respiratory illnesses such as tuberculosis and other lung-related diseases, thereby ensuring the protection of public health and fostering a stronger, healthier community.

❕DOH: PANATILIHIN ANG KALINISAN SA MGA PAARALAN PARA MAIWASAN ANG HAWAHAN NG SAKIT, GAYA NG HAND FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE❕

Sa pagpapatuloy ng klase sa mga paaralan, paalala ng DOH na panatilihin ang kalinisan sa katawan at paligid, lalo na sa mga silid-aralan at lugar kung saan namamalagi ang mga bata.

Kahit pababa ang trend ng bilang ng mga kaso ng Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) mula Mayo 18-31, 2025 (1,964 cases) papuntang Hunyo 1-14, 2025 (1,363 cases), hindi dapat maging kampante dahil mabilis itong makahawa kung hindi mag-iingat.

Ang isang batang may HFMD ay maaaring makahawa ng higit sa 2 na ibang bata, at maari pa itong dumami kapag nasa closed spaces gaya ng bahay at eskwelahan.

🖐👣 Ang mga kadalasang sintomas ng HFMD ay:
📌 lagnat
📌 singaw sa bibig
📌 sakit sa lalamunan
📌 mga butlig sa palad, talampakan, o puwit

❗️Makaiiwas sa HFMD sa pamamagitan ng:

✅Paghuhugas ng kamay gamit ang sabon at malinis na tubig, o paggamit ng alcohol-based sanitizer
✅Pag-iwas sa paghawak sa mukha, lalo na sa mata, ilong, at bibig
✅Pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at pagdisinfect ng mga kagamitan

The Rural Health Unit of Pantar, Lanao del Norte, in collaboration with the Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Program (PMNP) personnel, recently conducted a data quality check facilitated by the Nutrition and Dietician Deployment Program under Human Resources for Health.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, and personnel from the Rural Health Unit of Pantar, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of nutrition data.

This initiative is a testament to the commitment of our health workers and partners to delivering high-quality nutrition services to our communities.

Kudos to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication to improving the health and well-being of our people!

In celebration of Dengue Awareness Month and the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Dengue Day Celebration. The RHU Pantar | DOH HRH headed by DMO 4 | OIC MHO together with the LGU Pantar, PHO and Barangay Health Workers and their households, proudly joins the global community Dengue Awareness Month to raise and promote public awareness about dengue fever and mobilize prevention efforts.

The theme of the activity carries the timely and action-driven theme 'Alas kuwatro tayo'y gumalaw, mag 4T's tayo araw-araw.'
