📸☢️ Happy World Radiology Day! ☢️📸

Ngayong World Radiology Day, November 8, ipinagmamalaki ng Ospital ng Parañaque – Radiology Department ang matagumpay na pagdiriwang ng Radiologic Technology Week 2025! 🎉

Isang malaking pasasalamat sa lahat ng radiologists, radiologic technologists, interns, at staff na naging bahagi ng makabuluhang linggong ito — mula sa mga lecture at games noong November 3, hanggang sa mga free ultrasound procedures noong November 4–5. 🙌

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang art display at audio-video presentation na nagbigay-inspirasyon sa ating lahat at ipinakita ang malikhaing galing ng ating mga RadTech staff and interns. 🎨🎬

Sa likod ng bawat radiograph, bawat scan, at bawat gamutan — nariyan ang ating mga humble heroes na patuloy na nagbibigay-linaw at pag-asa sa ating mga pasyente. 💛

Nais magpasalamat ng Radiology Department kay Councilor Paolo Olivarez, sa Chief Nursing office, sa ating mga kaibigan sa Yakult Philippines at sa Atheli's Closet para sa give-aways, refreshments at snacks!

Tsunami Drill at Ospital ng Parañaque 1🌊
With a simulated magnitude 7.8 earthquake triggering a 20-foot tsunami affecting the Parañaque coastal area, OSPAR personnel successfully conducted a vertical evacuation drill — our first-ever tsunami scenario with fake patients.
A total of 119 participants took part, as employees evacuated up to the 6th floor, while fake patients were safely transported to the 4th floor. Our responders and floor marshals coordinated seamlessly to ensure an efficient and safe transfer process.
This exercise marks another step forward in strengthening our hospital’s disaster preparedness and resilience. A more intensive tsunami drill will be conducted in the future to further enhance our readiness and response. 🌊🏥💪

Ospital ng Parañaque proudly joins the nationwide celebration of Radiologic Technology Week ngayong November 3–7, 2025! 🎉

Para simulan ang ating pagdiriwang, samahan kami sa November 3 (Monday) para sa mga lectures mula 9:00 AM hanggang 12:00 NN, na pangungunahan ng ating mga OSPAR Radiologic Technologists!
📍 Venue: 6th Floor Hallway, Ospital ng Parañaque

🎉 Magkakaroon din ng mga games at exciting prizes sa araw na ito kaya siguradong masaya at makabuluhan ang ating kick-off celebration! 🙌

The second batch of the Basic Customer Service Skills (BCSS) Training continues for our OSPAR employees — a reaffirmation of our commitment to uphold the highest standards of compassionate and quality care.
This session also serves as a heartfelt tribute as we commemorate the 2nd death anniversary of our late Hospital Director, Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, on October 23, 2025. His welcoming personality, dedication, and passion for public service continue to inspire every OSPAR employee. ❤️
As we renew our pledge of customer care, we carry in our hearts Dr. Jefferson’s legacy — “Tatak JRP” — a symbol of genuine service, warmth, and dedication to every patient we serve. 💚👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

With the theme “Service with a Smile — Tatak JRP!”, the first batch of OSPAR employees undergoes intensive training on effective communication and patient handling. 💬👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
This program aims to strengthen our culture of compassionate and improved public service — ensuring that every patient is served with empathy, respect, and professionalism. ❤️
A project of the Administrative Division in coordination with the Human Resource Management Office, with the full support of our Hospital Administrator, Dr. Cherie Lynn T. Cruz, Hospital Director, Dr. Redentor Alquiroz, and our City Mayor, Hon Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez. 🙌

ZUMBA PARA SA KALUSUGAN! 💙💃

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Zumba session noong Oktubre 17 kung saan nagsuot tayo ng asul bilang suporta sa programa ng DOH Healthy Workplace!

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at sumayaw para sa mas masigla at malusog na katawan!

Inaanyayahan muli ang lahat sa susunod na Zumba session sa Oktubre 24 (Biyernes), 5:00–6:00 PM. Magsuot naman tayo ng pink bilang simbolo ng pagkakaisa at malasakit sa kalusugan!

Tara na’t sumayaw, mag-ehersisyo, at maging masigla—para sa isang healthy workplace! 💪🎶

📸 World Pharmacists Day 2025 Celebration

Ospital ng Parañaque | September 24–25, 2025

In observance of World Pharmacists Day, the Pharmacy Section of Ospital ng Parañaque held a two-day celebration highlighting the essential role of pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective medication use.

📍 Day 1 – Seminar on Medication Adherence and Safe OTC Use

Held on September 24, 2025, the seminar featured Ms. Sylvette Sherina C. Toledo, Lead Clinical Pharmacist at Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, as guest speaker. The session was attended by 44 participants from various hospital sections and addressed key topics such as medication adherence, common self-medication errors, and proper use of over-the-counter drugs.

Post-event evaluations reflected highly positive feedback:

✔️ 83% rated the seminar as Excellent

✔️ 100% agreed it provided new insights

✔️ Pre- and post-test scores showed overall improvement

📍 Day 2 – Games and Interactive Booths

On September 25, 2025, the hospital lobby transformed into a festive venue featuring activities such as the Medication Spelling Challenge, Medication Trivia, and Photo Booth, which drew participation from both medical and non-medical staff, as well as out-patients and visitors. These activities served to promote medication awareness and highlight the role of pharmacists in a fun and engaging format.

The Pharmacy Section extends its appreciation to the hospital leadership—Dr. Redentor P. Alquiroz (Hospital Director), Dr. Cherie Lynn T. Cruz (Hospital Administrator), Dr. Rodellenn D. Consignado (Chief of Clinics), Miss Meda M. Calderon (Chief Nurse), Mr. Araldo S. Cortes (SAO) and Mr. Joey M. Gorospe (Finance Division)—for their continued support. Gratitude is also extended to all section heads, participating staff, and partner sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.

As well as to Hon Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez and the City Government of Parañaque for their unwavering support. 💚
