Episode 20: Sr. Mary Ann L. Guevara, DC 💙🫶🏻

“When her love for God brought her to the poor.”

It began with a stirring in her heart, a love that refused to stay still.
When Sr. Mary Ann said her “yes,” she didn’t know where it would lead… only that God was calling her to love beyond comfort, to serve beyond measure.
And so, with courage and faith, she followed and God sent her to His beloved, “our masters,” the poor.

There, in the faces of the suffering and the forgotten, she discovered the face of Christ … the One she had loved all along.
Her life became a living echo of His compassion, a reminder that true love always finds its way to the poor.

But maybe… it’s God who’s been waiting for you all this time.
Waiting for your heart to quiet down,
for your fears to fade,
for you to finally notice His gentle voice calling your name.
He’s not asking for perfection … only your “yes.”
Because the One you’ve been searching for
is the same One who’s been searching for you. 💙
Maybe it’s time to stop waiting…

Sometimes we wait for the “perfect” moment … when life feels settled, when we feel more worthy, more ready. But God’s call doesn’t wait for perfection; it meets us right where we are. He’s not asking for certainty, only for trust. Each “maybe later” is gently met by His patient love, whispering again and again, “Why not now?”
Because the call of God isn’t about timing… it’s about love daring to respond today. 💙

Your dreams, your questions, your quiet longing … they are not random. They are the echoes of a God who thirsts for you, who calls you by name, and who patiently waits for your yes. Sometimes, the path to your true vocation begins not with finding, but with allowing yourself to be found. 💙

I find myself asking, “𝓦𝓱𝔂 𝓶𝓮, 𝓛𝓸𝓻𝓭?” Why call someone so uncertain, so imperfect, so small? And yet, in the quiet, Your answer comes…not in thunder, but in the gentle assurance that You do not look for the capable, only for the willing. You see beyond my fears and failures. You see what I could become if I let You love through me.

Perhaps that’s why You chose me … not because I am ready, but because You are. Not because I am strong, but because You want to be my strength.

So even in my doubts, I choose to stay. To keep walking this road of love and service, trusting that Your call is not about me being worthy, but about You being faithful.
