(SCPI), a safety equipment distribution company carrying products from just 5 major US brands. Over the next five years, we extended our product range to 35 international brands, and also launched our own brands, SAFEWARE & SAFEWEAR, as well as broadening our focus from Personal Protective Equipment to include Industrial and Environmental Protective Equipment. In 2006, we branched out into training, with the launch of a government accredited subsidiary called InSafety Inc., aimed at encouraging safety awareness in the workplace. As we developed the training business, and added consultancy services, we came to the realization that selling safety products and training were still only a part of the puzzle, and that we also needed to cover the process of risk management. Safety Center Company, Inc. was incorporated to replace SCPI, as the distribution company. SCPI became a BPO bringing all the diverse businesses together under the Safety Center Group umbrella. The group started its move into risk management by setting up an IT focused subsidiary, Rethink Safety Limited, to develop a suite of interleaved cloud applications, allowing the company to offer risk management as a BPO product. Development on these products remains at the core of Safety Center Group, and continues to the present date.
