Akala natin minsan mas masakit lang siya, pero in reality super helpful siya sa progress ng labor 💛 Minsan magugulat ka na lang, napababa mo na agad si baby 😉

🤰📏 CERVICAL EFFACEMENT (What You Need to Know) 📏🤰

Cervical effacement is the thinning and softening of the cervix before and during labor.

1️⃣ The cervix starts out thick and firm during pregnancy.

2️⃣ As labor approaches, it becomes softer and thinner.

3️⃣ Effacement is measured in percentages.

4️⃣ 0% = Not thinned at all.

5️⃣ 50% = Halfway thinned.

6️⃣ 100% = Fully thinned and ready for delivery.

7️⃣ Effacement usually happens before full dilation.

8️⃣ First-time moms may efface slowly over days or weeks.

9️⃣ Experienced moms may efface and dilate at the same time.

🔟 When cervix is 100% effaced and 10 cm dilated, baby is ready to be born 👶

Even if you feel great, some health problems don’t show obvious symptoms. That’s why prenatal tests are so important!

Expect:
📸 Ultrasound – See your baby’s growth!
🩸 Blood & urine tests – Check for infections & anaemia
🔬 Blood pressure & glucose screening – Prevent complications
🤰🏾 Regular baby monitoring – Ensure a safe delivery

Every test is a step toward a healthy pregnancy. Work with your health worker to ensure you get the care you need, when you need it. 💕

It wasn’t an easy journey starting at 35 weeks, but every sacrifice was worth it and WE made it to full term 🤩 Safe delivery, a healthy baby, and one very happy Ate with her baby brother 🥰 Check the last picture! 😉🥰
