The Department of Clinic in PUP Paranaque and S.E.R.T conducted a meeting in preparation for the upcoming National Simultaneous Earthquate Drill (NSED) on March 12, at 3pm. Together with them is the NSTP Officers who are also present in the said meeting with the guidance of campus nurses, Ms Honeylee Magtibay and Ms Laura Labolera together with our DRRI focal person Ms Catherine Llave.

One of the highlights of the said meeting was teaching the officers what to do during an earthquake drill. They were guided on the proper procedures to ensure everyone’s safety in case of a real emergency.

It is very important for all of us to remember the basic steps during an earthquake: Duck, Cover, and Hold. Knowing and practicing these steps can help reduce the risk of injury and keep everyone safe.

As a Reminder: Your safety is always a top priority, by following the proper procedures you can be alert at all times.

A vibrant afternoon of red and heartfelt appreciation!

The Student Emergency Response Team (SERT) concluded the year with a vibrant "Red Holidays" Year-End Party today, December 15, 2025. The atmosphere at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Parañaque City Campus AVR was electric from 12:00 PM onwards, as we gathered not just as a team, but as a family.

The gathering was a beautiful testament to our enduring camaraderie and the strong bonding that fortifies our emergency response efforts. We shared memories, laughter, and celebrated our collective achievements.

This magnificent celebration, and indeed our very existence as a team, would not have been possible without the tireless dedication and unwavering support of our two incredible pillars of strength: Nurse Honeylee and Nurse Laura. Our deepest appreciation goes out to them for their guidance, mentorship, and for nurturing us since day one. Their spirit is the heartbeat of SERT.

Cheers to the dedication of this phenomenal team and the guiding light of our esteemed nurses!
