2021 is an extraordinary challenging year for me.
Almost forgot to take care of my body, I started to resist exercising.
Being in the pandemic adds up to the pressure of not investing for my health and fitness.
However, the days get heavier.
I feel so tired.

I know that Im the person who is passionate in inspiring improvement.
Hence, I decided to bring back my fire.
I chose myself and decided to enroll to physical training.
And have the discipline to practice healthy eating habits.

6-11-22
Today is my breakthrough.
With the guidance of my coaches, (6 months later) I am able to finish the first Spartan Stadion race in the Philippines.

This is the culmination of my 6-month journey of choosing my health every single day.
Choosing myself. And I am excited to continue with this path.

My realizations:
Age is indeed a number.
Being busy and stressed in life is definitely not an excuse to be healthy and fit.
During hard times, learn to live life one day at a time.

Ngayong 4 PM, Enero 5, 2022, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 10,775 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 605 na gumaling at 58 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 1.4% (39,974) ang aktibong kaso, 96.8% (2,780,109) na ang gumaling, at 1.80% (51,662) ang namatay.

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong January 3, 2022 habang mayroong 9 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 9 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 2.2% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 5.3% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na huwag maging kampante sa banta ng COVID-19. Bagkus, dapat natin ipagpatuloy ang tamang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards at laging magsuot ng facemask, mag physical distancing, at maghugas ng kamay. Sa oras na makaramdam ng sintomas, agad na mag-isolate at magpatest. Tandaan ang right test at the right time. Agad rin na magpabakuna upang makakuha ng dagdag na proteksyon laban sa COVID-19.

🎄 Today I want to hold a little space for the people who aren't feeling merry or joyful & might be wondering how they're gonna get through the holiday season.

The people who lost someone this year and are bracing themselves for the first time without them.

The people who are going home to guaranteed body shaming & fatphobia.

The people whose mental health issues won't magically disappear just because it's Christmas.

The people with eating disorders who are worried about holding onto recovery when everything is so food-centred this time of year.

The people who are struggling to afford every day life and might go into debt trying to keep up with the celebrations.

The q***r kids who aren't able to fully be themselves around family because it might not be safe.

The people gathering strength to fight against racist comments round the dinner table.

The people who don't drink anymore and will have to keep explaining why because who doesn't drink over the holidays?

The carers, the retail workers, the hospital staff, everyone working extra time under extra pressure for not enough extra pay.

Anyone who's just feeling overwhelmed and like they can't keep up with it all.

I see you. And I want you to know that it's totally okay to feel exactly how you feel. To get through this year however you can. To protect and preserve yourself whenever you're able to. And to take this season a day at a time. 💜💙💚🌈🌞
