✨ A New Chapter for Ellie ✨

21 Days Post- Op & 21 days seizure free ✨

Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 💖 After everything Ellie has been through, I can finally say these words with so much relief and joy — Ellie is seizure-free since surgery. 🙏💫

For the first time in so long, our nights are no longer filled with constant fear… no more waiting for another seizure to strike while she sleeps. Instead, we now have peaceful nights, steady breaths, and a sense of safety we’ve prayed so hard for. 🌙💕

Seeing her half smile, play, and rest without fear is the biggest blessing. Her strength inspires me every single day, and I am endlessly proud of our little fighter. 💪👧✨

Thank you, Lord, for this miracle. And thank you to everyone who has prayed for Ellie, supported us, and stood by our side through every battle. The Grace of God has carried us. 🤍

Here’s to healing, hope, and brighter days ahead. 🌈

My baby fought so bravely and this is after surgery. There are alot of scary situations that happened post surgery but now she’s totally fine. She’s on her way to recovery. So proud of her strength and so grateful for everyone’s prayers. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts as she begins her healing journey. 🙏💕

Sending your child off to the operating room is an experience I never wish for any parent to go through. As a parent, nothing hurts more than seeing your child go through something you wish you could take their place for. My heart breaks silently while holding on to faith. My hands are trembling with fear but my faith to God is unwavering. I’m holding on to His promises and believe that God’s healing hands are at work.

Lord, please guide the doctors’ hands and grant them wisdom and strength to finish the operation successfully and without any complications. Please protect my little one and give her the comfort I am unable to give during the operation. This I pray in Jesus’ name.

Ellie is now admitted at the hospital. Her Hemi surgery is scheduled on November 12, 2025. Please continue praying for Ellie, for her successful surgery and seamless recovery. 🙏🏻

So I just received a phone call from Ellie’s neuro about the result of her 12-hour VEEG. Good news is, all focal seizures are coming from the right. Bad news is, there are also spikes coming from the left during spasms. The doctors decided to postponed her surgery and move to 2nd or 3rd week of November. They don’t want to rush the procedure and they want to make sure that they are offering the best possible solution or choice for Ellie to achieve seizure freedom. They are going to seek further consultations from their bosses or seniors from Children’s Hospital in the US and Australia. They will be having a conference to study her case more and review all her imaging and test results. We are still waiting for the copy of her EEG result but that’s what the doctors have told us as of now.

I held onto this Bible verse during my board exam. I passed.

I held onto this Bible verse during my health crisis and I regained my strength and life.

Now, I am holding onto this Bible verse yet again for my baby who is fighting a battle whose prognosis is still uncertain.

But I believe God always makes a way. Faith makes prayer powerful. When we trust God deeply and ask with the right heart, He promises to respond often in ways far greater than we imagined.

Yesterday we met our neurosurgeon. We were informed that there will be another pedia neurosurgeon who will join him in Ellie’s case. Should the surgery exceed 12 hours already and the disconnection is not yet through, they will do it in 2 parts and continue the surgery on another day. I got info overload yesterday and I am processing it all today little by little.
