Self Care Saturday for CM residents is back. The St. Camillus Center for Humanization in Health headed by Ms Janelle M. Villamor Wellness Enthusiast facilatated activities such lymphatic drainage massage, meditation and laughter yoga. It is indeed a day of pampering.

Marikina City Health Dept. via a phone call by Mayor Marcy Teodoro sets April 5 Monday for Camillus Medhaven senior residents’ inoculation of 1st dose of AstraZeneca COVID19 Vaccines onsite.

Family members who have not submitted their consent form kindly comply asap.

CM would like to thank our beloved City Mayor Marcy Teodoro for giving priority to seniors together with the City Health Department and the Department of Health.

Other nursing homes in Marikina will also have their onsite vaccination being organized in collaboration with the Nursing Home Federation of the Philippines and the Local Goverment of Marikina.

6 Camillus Medhaven Nursing Home staff assigned at the Jesuit Health and Wellness Center in Quezon City got the COVID19 Vaccine jabs.

6 out of 24 staff/frontliners. Hoping the coming days will be more organized and faster and all will get the shot.

Thank you Quezon City Health Department headed by Dr. Anita Arias and City Mayor Belmonte.

Camillus Medhaven makes sure that every birthday of its resident is celebrated meaningfully. Amidst the lockdown, relatives could not join the celebration but they made sure that everything is special for their mom or dad. Thanks to the proper coordination of the Events Coordinators and care assistants. Recorded messages and food are sent.
Happy birthday Prof. B. Hope you had a blast on your birthday and felt the love of your children and all of us here at The Village.

The ELEPHANT and ST. CAMILLUS DE LELLIS: two statues that ornate the Village’s garden.

1. “The symbolism of Alzheimer's is the color purple and an elephant. ... The elephant is a symbol because that is the only animal that will never forget anything. The Alzheimer's Association has a vision that humans will never deal with such disease and have a memory of an elephant.”

2. St. Camillus de Lellis - inspires the caring tradition of a camillian way: caring like a mother to her only sick child and seeing Christ in the sick and being Christ for the sick.

The Village at Camillus Medhaven aims to render a wholistic way of caring to persons with dementia. They may have the conditions of forgetfulness but they will always be treated with human dignity, as persons. The camillian caring with heart in our hands that humanizes the condition of illness such as dementia. The Village will be their Home with a Heart.
