IDH Joins Medical Outreach in Barangay Kulimpang

The Iranon District Hospital (IDH) Medical Team proudly took part in the medical outreach program initiated by MP Atty. Randolph “Bong” C. Parcasio, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. The medical mission was successfully held on December 6, 2025 at Barangay Kulimpang, Buldon, Maguindanao del Norte, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.

IDH Medical Team led by Dr. Bai Saada Bailan, provided free medical consultations for both children and adults, as well as free HIV testing—all aimed at promoting health and wellness among residents. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches communities with limited access to regular medical services.

On behalf of IDH, headed by Dr. Harris Macapeges, Chief of Hospital II, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for being given the opportunity to take part in this noble endeavor. Collaborations like this strengthen our mission to deliver accessible, compassionate, and community-centered healthcare.

We look forward to more meaningful partnerships that benefit and uplift the health and well-being of our people.

The Integrated Provincial Health Office–Maguindanao has deployed medical personnel from various hospitals in the province of Maguindanao to support communities severely affected by Typhoons Tino and Uwan.

Among the responding hospitals was the Iranon District Hospital (IDH), alongside BRHMC, BDH, DBTSDH, DOSDH, and SUMH, which reinforces community and hospital operations in severely impacted areas in Danao City and the Municipality of Sogod, Cebu.

The IDH team—led by Dr. Mohammad Alnahar Madlawi, together with Princess Norhana Miro, RN, Rosemah Espares, RN, and Norvin Konser—assisted in delivering essential health care services.

The medical team was organized into three composite groups, assigned to Cebu Provincial Hospital, Danao City; City Health Office, Danao City; and Juan B. Dosado Memorial Hospital, Municipality of Sogod.

Through their unified and coordinated efforts, the teams were able to serve 891 patients, offering timely medical care and critical support to families recovering from the impacts of the typhoons.

IDH reaffirms its dedication to compassionate service beyond borders, especially in times of great need—continuing its mission to uphold the health and well-being of communities wherever help is needed.

IDH Kicks Off 18-Day Campaign to End VAW | December 1, 2025

Iranon District Hospital officially kicked off its 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), aimed at raising awareness and strengthening advocacy within the institution. The launch ceremony took place at the hospital lobby following the flag-raising ceremony.

A key highlight of the event was the symbolic commitment of hospital employees to support the nationwide call to end VAW. Employees received orange hand-shaped cut-outs, on which they wrote personal pledges to help prevent and address all forms of violence against women.

The hand-shaped cut-outs represent:
🖐️Personal pledge or commitment
🖐️A stop or ‘hands-off’ message
🖐️Active participation

The color orange carries special significance:
🧡It is globally recognized in campaigns to end violence against women as a symbol of hope and a future free from violence.
🧡It conveys energy, visibility, and positivity, drawing attention to this urgent issue.
🧡It is part of UN Women’s “UNiTE to End Violence Against Women” campaign, which uses orange to symbolize a world free from violence.

Through this initiative, Iranon District Hospital reaffirms its commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and gender-sensitive environment for all.
