𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙃𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝘿𝙍𝙄𝙇𝙇 𝘼𝙏 𝙋𝘾𝙎𝙃𝙎: 𝘽𝙐𝙄𝙇𝘿𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘼 𝘾𝙐𝙇𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎

𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 conducted a comprehensive Earthquake Drill this morning, 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 06, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to student safety and disaster readiness.

The activity, supervised by Ms. Lanor Bucala, DRRMC Focal Person, and Dr. Cynthia D. Abella, Assistant Principal II, aimed to strengthen the preparedness, discipline, and awareness of students in responding to natural disasters. Various school organizations, including SSLG, Girl Scouts, BKD, BERT, ACTP, and Red Cross Youth, collaborated to ensure a successful drill.

Through this simulation, students practiced the crucial “𝘋𝘳𝘰𝘱, 𝘊𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘖𝘯” procedure, enhancing their ability to respond effectively during an earthquake. This initiative is part of the school’s continuous efforts to ensure the safety and readiness of every member of the PCSHS community during emergencies.

💡 𝘈𝘵 𝘗𝘊𝘚𝘏𝘚, 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺—𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. We also extend our gratitude to all faculty, staff, and students who participated and contributed to the success of this vital exercise.

SAY NO TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE!

The Pasay City South High School Red Cross Youth Council proudly participated in the Anti-Drug Symposium organized by the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) and the Committee on Women and Family of Barangay 183, Villamor, held on October 3, 2025, at the Audio Visual Room of Pasay City South High School.

This symposium provided valuable and educational insights that promote the safety and well-being of the youth and the community. The event was not only informative but also engaging, fostering awareness, collaboration, and empowerment among the participants. 🤍

This meaningful initiative inspired not only the Red Cross Youth Council officers and members but also all attendees to make informed choices and take responsible action toward building a drug-free society. ❤️

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our school principal, Dr. Felina P. Patagan, for her continuous support and trust, as well as to our assistant principals, Dr. Cynthia D. Abella and Mr. Victor L. Tubilan, for their unwavering guidance. Special thanks are also extended to Ms. Lanor C. Bucala (NDEP Coordinator), Ms. Ma. Fatima A. Roja (SSLG Adviser), and the SSLG Officers for their active assistance throughout the event. 👏

Once again, the Red Cross Youth Council stands firm in advocating against substance abuse—promoting awareness, informed decision-making, and the courage to stand for what is right. 🤍

CPR CARAVAN: SHAPING MINDS, SAVING LIVES ❤️

The Red Cross Youth CPR Caravan successfully concluded on October 1, 2025, at the Audio Visual Room of Pasay City South High School, empowering students with vital life-saving skills and knowledge on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The event served as an avenue for learning, engagement, and advocacy, reminding everyone that preparedness, compassion, and action are key to saving lives. Through hands-on training and meaningful discussions, participants demonstrated the true essence of service and volunteerism that the Red Cross Youth upholds.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Red Cross Youth Philippines and Red Cross Pasay Chapter for their dedication and commitment in making this educational initiative possible.

Special thanks as well to the different organizations of Pasay City South High School and the Grade 7-9 STE students for their active participation throughout the program.

Together, we continue to build a generation of youth who are ready to serve, respond, and save lives. 🤍

On September 16, 2025, the Officers and Special Committees of the Senior and Senior Plus Red Cross Youth PCSHS Council along with other student leaders of Pasay City South High School attended a meaningful 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held at PCSHS Gymnasium, embracing their roles as a leaders who serve with heart and purpose.

WALANG PASOK‼️ STAY SAFE ‼️

Suspendido ang pasok sa lahat ng antas, pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod Pasay bukas, Hulyo 22, 2025 batay sa rekomendasyon ng Pasay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Binibigyan ng kalayaan ang pamunuan ng paaralan na gumamit ng “alternative learning modalities” upang magpatuloy ang gawaing pampagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Samantala, suspendido din ang pasok sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan batay sa rekomendasyon ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). Ang mga tanggapan naman na tumutugon sa emergency response, pangkalusugan at pangunahing pangangailangan ay mananatiling bukas upang magbigay-tulong batay sa hinihingi ng sitwasyon.

Iniiwan sa opisyal ng mga pribadong kumpanya ang suspensyon ng kanilang trabaho upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga manggagawa.
