Ang Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) ay isang pangmatagalang kondisyon kung saan ang mga bato ay hindi gumagana ng maayos. Mayroong limang stages ito at iba't ibang sintomas mula sa simple hanggang sa malubha. Mas nanganganib ang mga taong may diabetes, hypertension, sakit sa puso, obesity, mga may kamag-anak na may CKD, at mga naninigarilyo o umiinom ng alak. Magpakonsulta na sa inyong nephrologist.

Kontrolin ang iyong asukal sa dugo at protektahan ang iyong mga bato sa pamamagitan ng pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng pagtatakda ng limitasyon sa pagkain ng asukal upang maiwasan ang sakit sa bato.

Pumili ng tamang pagkain tulad ng sariwang prutas, gulay, whole grains, at lean proteins sa halip na processed foods. Basahin ang mga label para sa nakatagong asukal at limitahan ang matatamis na inumin. Pumili ng malusog na meryenda at magluto sa bahay upang kontrolin ang mga sangkap.

Ang Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD) ay isang seryosong kondisyon na nagreresulta mula sa mataas na antas ng asukal sa dugo na sumisira sa mga yunit ng pagsasala ng bato. Karaniwang lumalala ito makalipas ang 10 taon ng diabetes, madalas na walang sintomas sa simula. Mahalaga ang maagang pagkilala at pamamahala.

Mga Risk Factors:
- Hindi kontroladong blood sugar levels
- Labis na timbang
- Highblood
- Kapamilyang may diabetes

Mga Sintomas:
- Pagkapagod
- Pamamaga sa mga binti at bukung-bukong
- Pagbabago sa pattern ng pag-ihi
- Mataas na presyon ng dugo

Alamin ang Iyong Kalusugan! Magpa-checkup nang regular!
