Last Sunday, a cherished goal was accomplished by the grace of God- I graduated from my certificate course in Integrative Dermatology from LearnSkin! This 9 month journey mentored by US board certified dermatologists was eye opening and taught me paradigm shifts in how we should journey with our patients to complete health. Integrative dermatology take a whole body approach, especially to chronic skin diseases and integrates traditional allopathic medicine with complementary methods. Evidence based diagnostics and medications are still prescribed, however lifestyle factors like sleep, stress and diet which can significantly impact your overall health are also taken into consideration. We approach your skin issues holistically and you can be sure you have a partner and advocate in your skin health.
