Kidney Foundation of the Philippines The Kidney Foundation of the Philippines (KFP) is committed to save and extend quality life of patien Imelda Marcos with the assistance of Mrs. Tessie Yulo.

The Kidney Foundation of the Philippines was founded in 1974 through the initiative of First Lady and Metro Manila Governor Mrs. I was initially located at the ABM Sison Hospital, the forerunner of The Medical City today. The KFP established the first Kidney Dialysis and Transplant center in the country. The KFP has program on public education on how to prevent or recognize early kidney disease, provides assistance to those with the impending kidney failure and encourages public support in organ donation and information in organ transplantation.
