It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved President, Vincent “Vino” Raphael M. Borromeo, on December 12, 2025.

Vino unexpectedly succumbed to a heart attack after completing a site visit of two important farm projects in Quezon and Bicol that are about to be commissioned.

In his role, Vino relentlessly pursued not only the company's business goals over the years but also unselfishly shared to the pork industry, which he dearly loved, his knowledge and experience, which were honed through many years of working in pig farms and collaborating with farmers and pork producers.

He was not only a great leader and a valued colleague but also a friend whose sincerity and kindness touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication and support to the people who relied on him for his mentorship and those whom he cherished the most and to the causes he firmly believed in. His presence brought light and joy to all of us and will be deeply missed.

On behalf of his family and loved ones, we humbly ask for prayers for the eternal repose of his soul and the comfort and consolation of his family in this difficult time.

Information regarding memorial services will be shared once confirmed with the family.

Rounding out our 1-2-3 batting order…
Last but not least, welcome to the index, Service Sire!
Service Sire is the:
🎇 Big boar in the room, representing the significant role a boar plays in reproductive success – influencing hundreds of pigs per collection.
🎇 Ultimate complement to semen quality, which has been in the index for 10+ years
🎇 Evidence that a sire’s genetic influence extends beyond grow-finish, shaping litter size and reproductive performance as well
What do you think – did the new traits lineup hit a grand slam?
