Ecclesiastes has a hard line that most people skip past:
"𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙞𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙭𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙣?"
It's a legacy question. Solomon — the wealthiest, wisest man alive — asking: what actually lasts?
Here's what I've learned from working with leaders for over 30 years:
Three things outlast a person.
🔅 The people they developed. Not influenced — developed. People who can do what you taught them without you being in the room.
🔅 The structures they created. Systems, organizations, frameworks, documented wisdom that keeps functioning after the founder steps away.
🔅 The culture they established. The values, the atmosphere, the "way we do things here" that persists through generations of new people.
Everything else — the reputation, the revenue, the social proof — fades faster than you'd expect.
If you want to build something that outlasts you, you have to shift your energy from performing to architecting. From being the best in the room to building a room that works without you.
That shift is what 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 of Sacred Sanctuary Getaway: The Gift Awakening™ Experience is all about.
