Keeping kids safe from the flu is mostly about a few smart habits 💙
Here’s a few simple but effective tips:
• Get the flu shot every year – it’s the best protection, especially for kids. Prevention is better than cure!
• Handwashing, handwashing, handwashing 🧼 (before meals, after school, after coughing/sneezing).
• Teach “cover your cough” – elbow, not hands.
• Keep sick kids home – rest protects them and everyone else.
• Clean high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, tablets, toys).
• Support their immune system: good sleep, balanced meals, plenty of fluids and give vitamins daily.
