Nominee Giselo Bella Jaro Castillones II, born on the 21st of March 1985 is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at Davao Merchant Maritime Academy. Since his internship, Mr. Castillones has spent his career under NYK-Fil- a Japan-based maritime company until his last on-board employment in 2021. Prior to his retirement, he has passed the examination for Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) and earned the qualifications as a Third Mate Officer. In 2022, Mr. Castillones together with his family decided to moved back to Cateel, Davao Oriental- our nominee’s hometown. He has focused in engaging into rice farming while his wife is an government employee.
