“Bat ka sa mall parking nagpapa-carwash? Hindi ba mahal? Hindi naman sila magaling eh.. wag ka na diyan.”
When I was much younger, I actually thought of the same thing
but a couple of years ago, around the start of my home service detailing/carwash business
I tried to recruit one of these mall carwash guys, and I found out how much they were earning..
I was shocked to find out how insanely small it was compared to the rate they were charging
And ever since then, I always kept them at the back of my mind
Fast forward many years, now being capable and not much time to drive to a carwash, line up, wait for an hour, and leave
I always - always have my car washed in malls at a pace of about once a month
With this, i’m able to save time, convenience, and most importantly, I get to help these honest, hardworking guys.
Most often than not, they range from young adults, to even old people
None gender specific as well
It isn’t always perfect, but I like the idea that while I was able to help someone, they also helped me back.
Aside from that, they’ll even look for a parking space for you as a small perc
Just food for thought everyone!
