Is there DOWNTIME?
YES... Complete healing usually takes 1-2 weeks. The thicker or bigger warts may take longer.

Small SCABS form and typically drop off in 5–14 days. Do not forcibly remove them and just let them fall off.

Electrosurgery / Electrocautery of warts is a medical procedure and done by our board-certified dermatologist!

WARTS:
Warts are benign (not cancerous) skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. Warts are often skin-colored and feel rough, but they can be dark (brown or gray-black), flat, and smooth.

Verruca vulgaris (warts) is caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Warts are contagious and you can spread them to other parts of your body or to other people through direct contact. They may develop on any skin surface but most occur on extremities like hands, fingers, feet or toes.

If you have warts, DO NOT self-medicate or remove them by yourself. Proper treatment with procedures and medications is needed.
