Anthony Pangilinan, the father of actor and host Donny Pangilinan, recently shared a message about balancing business decisions with community responsibility as fuel prices continue to affect many Filipinos.
In a social media post, Pangilinan said they had been assessing fuel prices and how these impact not only their business but also the people in their community. During the discussion, his son Donny suggested a move that, according to him, did not make much sense โnumbers-wise,โ but strongly aligned with their mission of helping those who need it most.
Following that suggestion, Pangilinan announced that beginning March 17, their fuel station located in South Forbes will cut โฑ3.00 per liter from its regular diesel prices. He said the initiative will continue for as long as they are able to sustain it.
The motivational speaker emphasized that the decision reflects their desire to support the community during challenging times.
โLetโs all do what we can, while we can, for as long as we are able,โ Pangilinan wrote.
The announcement has drawn praise online, with many commending the Pangilinan family for choosing to prioritize community support alongside business considerations.
