Salbutamol + Oral Decongestants 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

👨🏻‍⚕️Ang oral decongestants tulad ng phenylephrine at phenylpropanolamine ay HINDI dapat binibigay sa mga pasyenteng nakasalbutamol.
💀Giving them both can cause bad effects like high blood pressure, very fast heart beat, abnormalities sa tibok ng puso, irritability, etc. "Wala namang nangyari dati" doesn't mean okay lang na ulit ulitin niyo pa rin. You have been warned.
🤓Some common examples of brands containing such oral decongestants are:
- Bioflu
- Decolgen
- Disudrin
- Nasatapp
- Neozep
- Symdex

👨🏻‍⚕️Please do NOT mix and match meds na hindi kayo sure na compatible and safe together.
👨🏻‍⚕May ibang mga meds pang bawal isabay sa salbutamol pero ito talagang oral decongestants ang paulit-ulit kong nakikita 😭🙁😤

PS Cetirizine is an antihistamine. Hindi po siya classified as decongestant.

FOR NON-PREGNANT INDIVIDUALS:

🚩One-time exposure, NO wounds:
Doxycycline 100mg – Take 2 capsules, single dose (within 24–72 hrs after exposure)

🚩One-time exposure, WITH wounds:
Doxycycline 100mg – Take 2 capsules daily for 3–5 days (within 24–72 hrs)

🚩 Repeated exposure (with or without wounds):
Doxycycline 100mg – Take 2 capsules once a week (continue weekly while exposed)

⚠️ PREGNANT? Doxycycline is NOT allowed!

🚩 One-time exposure:
Azithromycin 500mg – Take 1 tablet, single dose (within 24–72 hrs)

🚩Repeated exposure:
Azithromycin 500mg – Take 1 tablet weekly (continue while exposed)

👉 FOR BREASTFEEDING MOMS:
Doxycycline is relatively safe, but Azithromycin is preferred.
