The wound must be immediately and thoroughly washed for at least 15 minutes with soap and water. Then visit a clinic, as you may need post-exposure vaccination!

RABIES FREE NA PUSA’T A*O KALIGTASAN NG PAMILYANG PILIPINO

The Municipal Health Office of Pinamalayan headed by Dra. Nina Kristinne Punzalan celebrated Rabies Awareness Month with a successful event attended by pet owners from Brgy. Marfrancosco, Barangay Health Workers, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars of Pinamalayan.

The celebration featured insightful discussions from esteemed guest speakers, including representatives from the Provincial Health Office Mr. Juveth Inao, our newly appointed Municipal Veterinarian, Our Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Alfredo Manglicmot, and Dr. Shynie VeeM. Telmo OIC Chief of Regional Animal Diagnostics Laboratory MIMAROPA. Together, they shared valuable expertise on rabies prevention, animal health, and public safety, empowering the community to take proactive steps against this deadly disease.
